One of my brides and dear friends invited me to join them in the Running of the Brides. Filene's Basement is known for their annual bridal gown event when brides-to-be can save hundreds, even thousands of dollars on designer wedding gowns.
I have never been to this before so I was excited to see how this was going to all go down. Jules invited 8 of her bridesmaids and friends to help. Team Jules came up with a master plan to run full speed, grab as many dresses and to all meet in one location!!
We arrived at 2am on Friday to get in line for a 6:30am door opening. We were the 6th group to arrive!! As we anxiously awaited we took turns keeping warm in the car, drinking Rockstars, dancing around, and singing Rappers Delights with another wedding party behind us!!!
Check out my quick Slide show of our experence.
If you have never been to an event like this check out this you tube video you can see some of us as we rush in!!
(we are in the teal shirts)
Is it time to go in yet? Team Jules
Our main rappers for Rappers Delight. By the way please contact me if you see this post. You are our savior in finding The Dress!!!

Thank you girls for inviting me! It was quite the experience. So glad to be part of finding the most important dress!!

Road trip
Going on a little road trip this weekend to VT. Heading to visit some friends & help with wedding plans. Besides working on wedding plans there will be lots of relaxing, drinking red wine and walking the pooches before we get hit with the Nor'easter. VT is always a place for me to get away from my craziness world. I mean I can't even go shopping- I think the nearest shopping plaza is an hour away.
I will respond to all emails and calls when I return on Tuesday. O- And by the way my phone died on me, I think its time for a new one ; )
Just want to end this post with a song I found + thought it was appropriate for this weekend!
Check out the lil video!!
I just love it.
Have a good weekend!

Best of 2008:: Weddings
The other day I was cleaning and filing my work from 2008 + decided to put together some images of my fav images from the year. 2008 was a great year for me. I finally bit the bullet and went full time with my business. It was a little scary and may not have been the right time but when is there ever a right time for anything? 2008 was very successful and full of lots of learning curves. I'm really looking forward to my 2009 season, experimenting having fun + providing the best quality of products that I can for everyone. I have some amazing - incredible brides + grooms this year!!! Brides for 2009 don't forget to call soon to schedule your Love Shoots if you haven't already.
Here are some highlights of 2008 + a Slide show for your viewing pleasure!
Happy Sunday!!

The Zitos
I got a call back a few weeks ago from Jen asking me to come over and do a Operation Love Session. I went over on Saturday to meet The Zitos + do some pics. When I showed up Zoe and Emma were ready full of energy and ready to play!! We started off with a lil tea party having the family interact with one another. Then Ray got out some of his gear and the the girls got to try them on.
I always enjoy photographing these sessions because they are soo meaningful to these families in a time like this. Its hard to say See you soon to a loved one who has to be gone for a long period of time. My heart and thoughts go out to all militaries families. While editing this session I found myself weeping like tears rolling down my cheeks weeping, over my computer not being able to see what I was doing. As I'm listening to the words of the song. Here are some from our session...
Be sure to check out our Slide show as well!!
Get the tissues out cuz everytime I look at this one it brings tears to my eyes! Good Luck Ray, Take Care and see you when you come home!!!
