Emily + Brian {Just married}

On October 3, Emily + Brian decided to show their love for one another and have reunion their vows in front of their family + friends. The details of the wedding were amazing. From the dress details to the beach themed flowers to the shoes.. We lucked out that day with no rain!! Congrats Emily + Brian!! Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Mystic Aquarium. What place to have a wedding!! This was my first time shooting a wedding there so I was super excited!! It was incredible with all the fish, sharks and sting rays swimming around us all as we celebrate Emily + Brian's wedding day
Thank you again for having us to celebrate!!! And especially a big thank you to Miss Michelle Wade for joining me!! You rock girl!

The Lindsay's: Love Operation Session

Before I left for Guam, I got to meet up with The Lindsay's to do a Love Operation Session. Lisa heard about me through one of her friends and checked out my blog + was excited to know that I do Love Operation Sessions. Lisa's husband who is in the Navy had been out to sea for some time now and was home for 2 weeks so we squeezed in a quick session. I really love doing these sessions!! Now with Joe in the Air Force and being stationed in Guam, I now know how hard it is to have someone who you love in the military be gone for periods of time. It touches my heart to see the love in their eyes to finally have that moment together and not want it to ever go away.
I met The Lindsay's in Pomfret, Ct to do their session. Thank you guys! I had a blast working with you all! Best of Luck and talk to you soon!

I am now booking Pre-deployment, Reuniting + Deployment Sessions in Ct + in Guam.
Please contact us via email stacey@staceymphotography.com for times + locations.

Baby Jianna

I recently had the opportunity to photograph Jenny + Billy's newest addition to the family. Baby Jianna was 2 weeks old when I went over to take some pics. She was such a doll!!! Jenny was such a natural handling Jianna, while proud Dad Billy stood and watched from a distance. I don't think that Billy's smile left his face the entire time I was there.
I am so happy for both of you- Jenny + Billy. Congrats again!!
Uncle Joe can't wait to come home + meet Jianna.

The Nardecchia's

Another Nardecchia Session- Mission accomplished! I absolutely love photographing this family. They always make you feel right at home + part of the family. I have been able to capture Nina + Nicco grow this year, its been incredible. And I can't wait till the baby arrives to capture all 3 together!!!
For this session Ang wanted to have the grandparents part of the session. We headed to a local horse farm then to a pumpkin patch to pick out some pumpkins. I love this time of year. All the leaves changing colors, the smell of the air, apple cider, pumpkin pies + family gatherings.

Meet My Family

We haven't done our family portraits for a few years now, so it was time to do some updating...
Times have changed and there has been new additions to the family. My lil brother, James got married to Mandy last year. And now this year they are expecting a lil one. {and tomorrow we get to find out if its a boy/girl}
We headed to Old Saybrook and I knew this was going to be a challenge to get my family to listen to me + take me seriously, set the timer and run back + forth checking the exposure, positions of everyone and everything else. I know I could have hired someone and it would have made it alot easier but it gives us something to talk about and I love it anyways!!!

Just want to say to my family that I Love you all. And know near or far you are always in heart + I'm always thinking of you. Mom + Dad I know I may drive you crazy with all my adventures in life I do. Just want to say thank you for being you + dealing with me. We all my drive each other crazy at times but at the end of the day we are always there for one another- whether we are making fun of each other, sharing a shoulder to cry on or laughing till we cry .
This is us in a nut shell.... And I wouldn't change it for the world.
I...U.
