Best of 2008:: Weddings

The other day I was cleaning and filing my work from 2008 + decided to put together some images of my fav images from the year. 2008 was a great year for me. I finally bit the bullet and went full time with my business. It was a little scary and may not have been the right time but when is there ever a right time for anything? 2008 was very successful and full of lots of learning curves. I'm really looking forward to my 2009 season, experimenting having fun + providing the best quality of products that I can for everyone. I have some amazing - incredible brides + grooms this year!!! Kristjan's 1st Bday

The Zitos

I got a call back a few weeks ago from Jen asking me to come over and do a Operation Love Session. I went over on Saturday to meet The Zitos + do some pics. When I showed up Zoe and Emma were ready full of energy and ready to play!! We started off with a lil tea party having the family interact with one another. Then Ray got out some of his gear and the the girls got to try them on.

I always enjoy photographing these sessions because they are soo meaningful to these families in a time like this. Its hard to say See you soon to a loved one who has to be gone for a long period of time. My heart and thoughts go out to all militaries families. While editing this session I found myself weeping like tears rolling down my cheeks weeping, over my computer not being able to see what I was doing. As I'm listening to the words of the song. Jaclyn + Marcel.. expecting!!

Ok so to continue from my last post on Jaclyn + Marcel's sessions.. These two are the cutest couple ever!!! I don't think that their smiles left their faces the entire time I was there. You can feel + see the love for each other in the way they looked at one another- smiling with their eyes, his hands in hers!
